Partnership Opportunities
Honor Roll Racing offers two main types of partnerships. Yearling/two-year old partnerships are one type offered. These partnerships are centered around the purchase and preparation of an unraced yearling or two-year old Thoroughbred and are highly speculative since the horses are purchased prior to competitive racing. The advantage to this form of partnership is the opportunity exists to get a superstar at a reasonable price since everyone involved cannot predict with complete certainty how well a horse will mature and race. The downside is there is generally a significant period of preparation and expense before your horse is ready to race.
The second type of partnership offered is a partnership that campaigns an older previously raced horse. These partnerships are less speculative than the yearling/two-year old partnerships in that you become an owner of a horse that has generally competed in some number of races. The advantage of this form of partnership is there is generally less time and expense before you will see your horse race. The potential downside is that the untapped potential of an already campaigned horse is often not as great as one that has not started.
